North America Time Zones

North America, with an area of 24.93 million square kilometers, is the world's third-largest continent and includes Greenland, Mexico, the United States, Canada, and several Caribbean Island Nations. In total, North America comprises 23 countries where 440 million people live. The continent is surrounded by the Atlantic, Arctic and Pacific oceans, as well as the Caribbean. The Isthmus of Panama forms a land bridge between North and South America.
