Canada Current Local Time & Date, Time Zone and Time Difference

Located in North America, Canada shares its borders with the United States to the south and stretches from the Artic Ocean in the north. It is surrounded by Atlantic Ocean in the east and the Pacific on the west. Canada’s capital city, Ottawa, borders with Quebec and Gatineau in Southern Ontario. Canada has six time zones in total, including Newfoundland Standard Time (NST) and Atlantic Standard Time (AST). NST zone is actually a unique time zone that exists only due to the location of the island.
