Located in Eastern Europe, Ukraine shares its borders with the Russian Federation in east and northeast, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia in the west and Moldova and Romania in the southwest. It has Sea of Azov and Black sea in the southeast and south. The capital and largest city of the country is Kiev, which is located in the north central region of Ukraine. The country follows Eastern European Time zone, which is two hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
